Andrea! Wow! You never know who you'll find when you follow a story link.

That is a damn cool job you have. Congratulations!

Can the public see any of 23 being worked on? Going to hockeygiant this Saturday, maybe I should bring the kids by. Is there still parking?

Never has a shot of someone's dirty sneakers been more interesting.

If it weren't for the media, I'd never see you at all.

I just stopped by to check it out today. Thanks for talking while digging.

I really liked seeing Zed. I was unaware until I got there how much bigger Zed is than the other Columbian skeleton on display.

He's a big boy.

Would it be possible for you to give us a size comparison between the one on display and Zed? Like a side-by-side image of 6-foot human, modern elephant, columbian on display then zed?

Because that would be just extremely cool.

Thanks!

Siamang,

Excellent suggestion! I've talked to the Excavatrix herself, and we have some funny/interesting ways to do that. We have yet to get to Zed's long bones yet... but soonish.
